This year France has launched a ‘Pass Patrimoine’ (Heritage Pass). It is an annual subscription that provides unlimited entry to over 500 monuments, chateaux, museums, and gardens across France. It includes some key landmarks such as the Palace of Versailles, Château de Fontainebleau, and Château de Chambord.
It’s easy to use, as a member you just download the app, scan a QR code upon arrival at the location, and enter. It includes unlimited return visits to the locations, plus invitations to exclusive pop-up tours, lectures, and concerts.
For a couple, it’s €9.50 per month for 12 months, which could be well worth the investment if there are a few locations you’d like to visit whilst in France.
