About us

We are an English couple that moved to France in July 2020. We gave up our jobs in the UK, sold our house and moved here to Champagne to set up a chambre d’hôte. We spent 12 months renovating our rooms, installing a new heating and hot water system, installing a new kitchen and generally preparing our house to welcome guests.

We have a passion for food and wine and walking in the countryside, and love discovering what the Champagne region has to offer around our home. We are keen to learn about the French culture and are working hard to speak French.

Jo has been writing a blog almost every day since we left the UK, capturing all the moments along our journey.
