Got it covered

When we put the shed up earlier in the year it came with just a very thin roofing felt, which we managed to tear whilst putting up. It was fine for the summer, but with winter upon us, and with rain due, we needed to fit a better, more protective, waterproof cover.

We had to start by removing some of the wooden batons edging the roof. With those removed, we could clearly see the deterioration in the existing roof already happening. Considering we haven’t had much rain, it’s surprising how this has happened so quickly.

Once we had lined up the metal panels that we had bought for the job, the new roof came together quite quickly, due to the simple design.

The final thing to do was to seal off the ridge, which was probably the easiest part.

We are both feeling very satisfied with our days work.
