Deer me
On my drive home from my summer yoga outing - our teacher had arranged a dinner at one of the restaurants in Essoyes - I just had to stop the car, as I spotted two deer having a little tussle in the recently harvested corn field. They noticed me, but decided their game was far too important for me to interrupt and continued knocking heads. So beautiful, and such confidence, they were not going to be disturbed. Until some minutes later when they heard another sound, pricked up their ears and turned and ran off with real determination. Joyful.
As I turned to get back in the car, I was caught by the full moon, shining magnificently in the deep blue, clear evening sky. Such tranquil beauty.
