Grubby work

The temperature dropped today by about 8°c, and we really noticed the difference. Brian wanted to carry on with the cellar, and was cleaning down the oak beams ready to use.

It was a bit of a grubby job. He mainly needed to remove all the old rotten areas to be left with a solid beam. He managed to finish two beams - he has six to do. I think it’s going to be a slow steady job.
