Re-use

We woke early this morning as Brian was keen to get started on the new cellar wall. He decided he wanted to use some of the old oak beams we had taken out of the ceiling during the barn clear-out when we first moved to France over two years ago - time really does toddle along.

He was soon positioning them, to show me what it could look like. And we were both excited at how perfect they will look. I’m not sure why we hadn’t thought of it before.

The day was warm and bright though, so ideal to finish mowing the slope, so the cellar will have to wait for now. We still have a bit of strimming left to do, but almost there.
