Welcome home

It was a warm drive home, although quite nice to be in the cool of the aircon in the car.

We pulled off the motorway, and drove the last 15 minutes of our journey across the recently harvested wheat fields, that were now looking very dry—spent of their crop. I smiled, ‘Oh look, the sunflowers are out.’

The fields of bright sunflowers were welcoming us home.

They always bring me joy, I will never tire of seeing them. I can’t help but have a huge smile on my face.
