Sunday in Viviers

It’s Sunday morning, the village is particularly quiet today, our guests have enjoyed their breakfast in the garden, and are now heading out to visit the delightful Renoir museum in Essoyes, before heading off for lunch at the Val Moret.

We are just finishing our mid morning breakfast, with the familiar church bells ringing in the background telling us it’s 11am. It’s going to be a hot one today, so the plan is to do as little as possible. With the French holidays in full swing, there’s no vide greniers or marché des puces to visit, so a few hours by the pool before our guests return and we leave them to enjoy the peace of the afternoon and a refreshing dip.
