Randonnée gourmande

Our pool cleaning and gardening was going to be put on hold for a few days, as we have other plans. Today is the ‘randonnée gourmande’ which starts in the small village of Celles-sur-ource. It is such a wonderful event.

This year it is 11 km long, winding through the vineyards, bands along the way, with five food and drink stops…oh, and a little tipple of ratafia just before cheese.

There’s about 500 people who take part, but the staggered start means you rarely get caught up behind a queue of them. It’s such a cordial experience.
