Looking good

I was able to finish painting the cupboard today. The paint went on really well, and we were starting to see how the room was going to look. This gave us a burst of energy to get lots of little jobs finished.

Brian started by fixing the skirting. I’d already linseeded it all, so he just needed to glue it into place. It was a bit tricky behind the radiator but he soon has it sorted and set up a wood support to hold it into place .

We had a slightly difficult corner where three pieces of wood were coming together, but we both felt the angles Brian had worked out came together pretty well.

We were pleased at what we’d achieved by the end of the day. Still a way to go, but it was looking good.
